El 23 de julio de 1536, el hijo de Blount, Henry FitzRoy, murió, probablemente de tuberculosis ("tisis"). Su marido, Gilbert, Lord Tailboys, también falleció antes que ella, muriendo en 1530 pero dejándola viuda con medios económicos.
