The Tollemache baronetcy, therefore, became extinct, while the Earldom of Dysart passed to his sister Lady Louisa Manners. The estates were divided between Louisa and her younger sister, Lady Jane Halliday, with Jane receiving Helmingham, Suffolk, Cheshire and Northants, whilst Louisa inherited Ham House and the surrounding estates in Ham, Petersham and Canbury.
Louisa married Sir Joseph Burke on 9 August 1816. On her paternal grandmother's succession to the earldom in 1821, Sir William Talmash was styled Lord Huntingtower, and adopted the surname of Talmash or Tollemache. Louisa also became known as Hon. Louisa Tollemache. Louisa and Joseph had two children. She died on 18 April 1830. Marriage Notice

In 1821, when his grandmother Louisa Tollemache became 7th Countess of Dysart, he assumed by Royal licence the surname of Tollemache in lieu of Manners. Upon his father's death in 1833, he succeeded as second Baronet of Hanby Hall and as heir apparent to his grandmother, with the courtesy title of Lord Huntingtower.
