Kerry Gordy (Known as KG) is the son of Berry Gordy Jr. and his second wife, Raynoma Mayberry. He was a member of the band Apollo , which released an album on Gordy Records in 1979. Later, he worked as a staff writer and producer at Motown under his given name, Kerry Ashby.
