The film left me wanting more in depth knowledge of what really went on behind the scenes. There was much patting on the back on how diverse the cast was without really addressing the fact that it was all still written and produced by white men.

30 de jun. de 2019 · Bewertung. Für “Deep Space Nine”-Fans ist “What We Left Behind: Looking Back at Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” ein absolutes Muss! Das lange Warten hat sich mehr als gelohnt, denn Ira Steven Behr und David Zappone haben wirklich ein großartiges Stück produziert, das mit viel Emotionalität, Humor und Inhalt punkten kann.
William Shatner's Chaos on the Bridge and Adam Nimoy's For the Love of Spock are two of my favorites, but hands down What We Left Behind is the best Star Trek documentary ever created. Yes, there were countless delays on the project, but what Ira and crew left behind was a flawless film with rich interviews and every topic covered in depth.
