The show provides its audience with a detailed depiction of the investigative work that goes into solving homicides. Recently retired Sergeant Dave Walker was a staple on the show for the episodes captured in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The Redcaps. Born on 25th January 1945 and raised by his grandparents, David Walker's life changed forever when he first saw Elvis Presley perform on British TV. This inspired Dave to form his first rock 'n' roll band called The Redcaps along with his twin brother Mick in the "Black Country" town of Walsall during 1960.

The Walker lineup never recorded together, but they did make one television appearance, performing an early version of "Junior's Eyes" on the BBC regional show Look Hear in January 1978. Walker returned to the U.S., but his next project, the Dave Walker Band flourished briefly, but by the end of the decade he had effectively retired.
