Sara Quin is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician. She is best known as one half of the indie rock/indie pop duo Tegan and Sara, which she formed with her identical twin sister Tegan Quin in 1995. Sara was born on September 19, 1980 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She is the daughter of a French-Canadian father and an Irish-Scottish mother.
