Der erste Podcast im Rahmen der Partnerschaft, The Michelle Obama Podcast, wurde am 29. Juli 2020 veröffentlicht. Launching Higher Ground Productions was a dream come true for former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama. Since it was founded in 2018, Higher Ground Productions has produced works in film, television, as well as documentaries and podcasts. However, much of its productions have been in television and documentaries.
Higher Ground Productions, which is co-led by Priya Swaminathan and Tonia Davis, along with Ada Chiaghana and Alex Pitz, focuses on telling stories that embody the values the Obamas have championed throughout their lives. The projects selected are a reflection of these values and a commitment to quality storytelling.
