  4. Das Institut wurde 1969 von Lee Strasberg gegründet, dem damaligen Leiter des Actors Studio in New York. Dem vorausgegangen war die Eröffnung des Actors Studio West. Es besteht noch heute. Das dort praktizierte Method Acting wurde beibehalten. Heute wird die Schule von seiner dritten Frau, Anna Strasberg, geleitet. [1]

  5. Formerly a professor at NYU/Tisch Film & TV Department, Ms. Cohen has been a faculty member at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute for over 25 years. In October, 2008, Ms. Cohen was honored to represent the United States in the work of Lee Strasberg, at the international Methodic Theatrical Festival in Tuscany.
