Animals was based loosely on George Orwell’s book Animal Farm. But whereas Animal Farm was a rebuke of communism, Animals was an angry indictment of capitalism.

The photo-shoot was booked to take place over three days and a marksmen was hired to be on hand, should the pig get out of control.
