Steve Winwood, teljes nevén Stephen Lawrence Winwood (Handsworth, Birmingham, 1948. május 12. –) angol énekes, dalszerző és zenész, a Traffic, The Spencer Davis Group, és a Blind Faith tagja. Van Chris Wood moet ik zijn solo-werk nog gaan ontdekken. Wood doet o.a. mee op het nummer Autumn Stone van The Small Faces. Van Capaldi had ik nooit iets solo gekocht.
Winwood werd op zijn vijftiende lid van The Spencer Davis Group, die hits had als "Keep On Runnin", "Gimme Some Lovin" en "I'm a Man". In 1967 richtte hij met Chris Wood, Jim Capaldi en Dave Mason de band Traffic op. In 1969 maakte Winwood deel uit van de groep Blind Faith, die echter geen lang leven was

He was still in his teens when he quit the Spencer Davis Group and formed Traffic in 1967, leaving behind a trail of huge-selling hits, among them Keep On Running , Gimme Some Lovin’ and the somewhat ironically titled I’m A Man .
