Sometimes a superhero has to do things he's not proud of to put food on the table - or in this case, to pay for his girlfriend's operation. This time around, our beloved, disfigured Toxie takes a job with the evil corporation Apocalypse, Inc., only to discover that the reason they're so evil is that Lucifer himself is the company's CEO.
