Alongside the announcement, she has shared a brand new single entitled "Same Team". Speaking on the album and its inspiration, Alice wrote: "The last two years have been challenging for everyone in some way or another.

Born in Frankfurt, Germany and raised in Canada, the U.S., Germany, and England, Merton first learned classical piano and singing as a child in Ontario, Canada.
