On the 500th anniversary of Hieronymus Bosch’ death, this documentary focused on his most important painting, and one of the most iconic in the world: The Garden of Earthly Delights. Artists, writers, philosophers and scientists discuss the picture’s personal, historical and artistic significance.
The film will be narrated in Spanish with English subtitles. It shows how Bosch’s work remains to be an inspiration to artists within different fields. Dutch contributors to the film include art historian Reindert Falkenburg and author Cees Nooteboom. Bosch: The Garden Of Dreams will screen on: December 17, 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
