  1. 28 de out. de 2003 · Of the 14 Holmes 'films' this is my preference ( S. H. Faces Death ). Reasoning based on the sets, supporting actors, plots, and reliable efforts by Bruce and Rathbone. I will add that all these films are thoroughly enjoyable while suitable for family viewing.

  4. During WWII, several murders occur at a convalescent home where Dr. Watson has volunteered his services. He summons Holmes for help and the master detective proceeds to solve the crime from a long list of suspects including the owners of the home, the staff and the patients recovering there.

  5. Now, Sherlock Holmes Faces Death, is my new favorite entry in the Rathbone/Bruce saga. It features a strong mystery, wonderful cinematography and outstanding performances all around. One advantage that this movie has is that it was adapted from a story in the Holmes canon by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, The Adventure of the Musgrave Ritual.
