O primeiro modelo B foi entregue à Força Aérea (USAF) em janeiro de 1980 e, em 1985, todas as aeronaves foram convertidas para modelos B. Although challenged by a low density/high demand fleet, the ongoing efforts by mission partners across the Department of Defense and industry will ensure continued mission success well into the future.
