Program Options. Area of Concentration, Joint Concentration, Secondary Field. “English” is a flexible and capacious field, founded on careful engagement with artistic writing or “literature,” but reaching into all corners of communicating in English including film, digital media and performance.
New College also supports a local Primary School in Oxford and engages with external organisations such as The Brilliant Club, NACE and Thinking Black. In recent years New College, along with two others, has also taken on responsibility for outreach provision in Wales, working with the Seren Network and hosting an annual summer school for Welsh state-school students.
