John Lennons Interesse verlagerte sich aber bereits während dieser Zeit von den Beatles immer mehr zu Yoko Ono und der eigenen Verwirklichung. Nachdem immer mehr Unstimmigkeiten zwischen den Bandmitgliedern herrschten, verließ Lennon bereits 1969 stillschweigend die Beatles, die sich schlussendlich 1970 medial auflösten.
