Sidney Webb and his wife Beatrice Potter Webb were Victorian socialist activists, leaders of the Fabian Society and, later, the British Labour Party. Sidney Webb and Beatrice Potter met in activist circles in London, and were married in 1892. They became co-writers and collaborators in a myriad of social reform movements.
