19 de ago. de 2021 · The Victoria Palace Theatre opened on 6 Nov. 1911. In 1934, a production of Rev. Walter Reynolds’ Young England played here and was so badly reviewed that it enjoyed a cult success, playing 278 performances to full houses.
No expense was spared in its reopening later that year, and the Victoria Palace has had a long association with variety, music hall and musicals ever since. Before going dark for renovation, the Victoria Palace Theatre had a large capacity, seating over 1500 audience members over 3 levels.
