Eton College is a full boarding school for boys with 1,344 pupils, situated next to the historic town of Windsor, Berkshire. It was founded in 1440 by King Henry VI. The school’s ethos is to take talented pupils with character and give them the skills to progress through life as happy, successful and socially responsible adults.

Tours take place on Friday afternoons at 2pm and 4pm, for a duration of 90 minutes each. The tour covers School Yard, College Chapel, Upper School, Lower School, and the Museum of Eton Life. When available, a special viewing of a special exhibition is also included. Individuals and small groups are welcome on these scheduled tours.

Eton College is a collection of separate buildings about a kilometre or so from Windsor Castle. It is easy to find ... just follow the street signs. I thought the College would be one huge building but it is scattered on both sides of the road. I saw two of the students wearing tails and white bowties walking on the pathway.
