As a Birkbeck student, you can choose the university experience you want. The majority of our courses are offered in the evening, so you can combine working in the day with studying in the evening. As well as our evening teaching we're offering an increasing number of courses during the afternoon or online, so there are opportunities to fit study with us around your other commitments.

Birkbeck is strongly oriented towards research in psychological sciences and we are home to the Centre for Brain and Cognitive Development ( including the BabyLab and ToddlerLab ), the Institute for the Study of Children, Families and Social Issues, the Birkbeck-UCL Centre for Neuroimaging and the Centre for Cognition, Computation and Modelling.
