François-Xavier Fabre. Porträt von Lucien Bonaparte. François-Xavier Fabre (* 1. April 1766 in Montpellier, Département Hérault; † 16. März 1837 ebenda) war ein französischer Maler, Zeichner, Radierer und Kunstsammler. Als Meisterschüler von Jacques Louis David konnte Fabre 1787 auf der großen Ausstellung des Salon de Paris teilnehmen.

Painter, collector, dealer. David pupil. In Italy from 1787-1824, first in Rome, then in Florence. Returned to France, and settled in Montpellier where died. Left his collection of paintings to Montpellier, where the Musée Fabre was founded in his name.
