Two police officers, the older Lt. Stone and the young upstart Inspector Keller, investigate murders and other serious crimes in San Francisco. Stone would become a second father to Keller as he learned the rigors and procedures of detective work.
After doing my "anal-ysis" for Kojak, I swore I would not do this for another TV show, but a few people suggested I tackle The Streets of San Francisco (SOSF).With only five seasons (meaning a lot less work), SOSF is appealing; I used to tape this show regularly when it was broadcast late at night on KOMO-TV Seattle many years ago.

The show ran for five seasons on ABC between 1972 and 1977, amassing a total of 119 60-minute episodes. Douglas left the series at the start of its final season, and was replaced by Richard Hatch.

20 de ago. de 2019 · The Streets of San Francisco ran from 1972-1977, and the word on the street is it’s still solid nearly 50 years later. I grew up watching this television show in the ‘70s, and after revisiting the series now, I personally feel the series still holds up. It comes down to originality, style, storyline, and casting, and TSOSF had it all.
