Producer Herman Cohen had a huge hit with I Was a Teenage Werewolf and quick on its tail released this companion piece.
The main title on the print viewed, which was a British-release version, was Teenage Frankenstein, the film's title in Britain. The print was slightly shorter than the U.S. version due to cuts made by the British censorship board. There is a slight difference in the order of the opening and ending cast credits.
