This is Climping beach, West Sussex. The beach was also seen in a 1967 Doctor Who story 'The Enemy Of The World'. In another part of the film the distinctive shape of Littlehampton west beach dunes can be seen in the distance. I couldn't find the same breakwater so it must have been replaced. SD

The transfer is generally excellent; colours pop and detail is rich, though some of the aerial footage is noticeably of a lower quality. Still, it’s hard to imagine the film ever looking this good.
