Romar Benjamin Gil Aguilar (born October 6, 1972) is a Mexican former professional baseball infielder and coach. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Texas Rangers and the Anaheim Angels with whom he won the 2002 World Series. He was the infield coach for the Los Angeles Angels.

Plenty of diverse experience “I was able to be a guy that was a top prospect, and eventually became a suspect,” he says with a smile. Gil, 50, played parts of eight seasons in the majors. He helped the Angels win the 2002 World Series, hitting .677 in that postseason.
