And now to wake up the neighbourhood! I got “Celestial” at the end of last year and I don’t think that I have written about it before. Credited to Rob Halford with Family & Friends, it is a proper hard rock/ heavy metal Christmas album.
6 de set. de 2019 · It’s titled Celestial and will be the Judas Priest frontman’s second Yuletide release and follows Halford III: Winter Songs, which launched in 2009. Like the previously release, the new album will feature a collection festive favourites which have been given a metal makeover, including Away In A Manger , The First Noel , O Little Town Of Bethlehem and Good King Wenceslas .
Celestial marks Halford's second album of Christmas music, re-made in a Heavy Metal style. In making the album which includes interpretations of traditional festive songs "Away in a Manger", "The First Noel", "Good King Wenceslas" and many more - Rob has been joined by a number of associates, friends and family.

Best known for his work with Judas Priest, which bracket his solo efforts under the guises of Fight, Two, and his eponymous project, Halford walk into familiar territory with Celestial.
