3 de out. de 2021 · Sadly, Harry Andrews died on 6 March 1989 at his home in Salehurst, East Sussex and was buried next to his partner of 30 years and fellow actor Basil Hoskins. In an extract from his book Star Turns , Walker recounts interviewing Andrews, meeting Hoskins and the “moral dilemma” he faced when deciding if he wanted to tell the world about the actor’s sexuality.

Basil William Hoskins was an English theatre and film actor. Hoskins, a native of Edmonton, London, was educated at the Edmonton County School. Hoskins studied acting at RADA and joined the Nottingham Playhouse Company in 1951. He was the long-term partner of fellow English actor Harry Andrews.
