Brief Life History of William. When Sir William Brooke was born on 11 January 1527, in Cobham, Kent, England, United Kingdom, his father, Sir George Brooke, was 30 and his mother, Anne Braye, was 25. He married Dorothy Neville about 1550, in England. They were the parents of at least 2 daughters.
Henry Brooke, 11th Baron Cobham (22 November 1564 – 24 January 1619), who married Lady Frances Howard (1566 – July 1628), daughter of Charles Howard, 1st Earl of Nottingham, widow of Henry FitzGerald, Earl of Kildare, by whom he had no issue. Sir William Brooke (11 December 1565 – 1597) MP. Killed in duel.
