The Royal Academy of Music (RAM) in London, England, is one of the oldest music schools in the UK, founded in 1822 by John Fane and Nicolas-Charles Bochsa. It received its royal charter in 1830 from King George IV with the support of the first Duke of Wellington.

A Royal Academy of Music é um conservatório em Londres destinado ao ensino de jovens, pertencendo à Universidade de Londres desde 1999 [ 1]. A maioria dos músicos influentes do Reino Unido estudaram na Royal Academy. Foi fundada em 1822 e as aulas foram inicidas em 1823 com apenas 23 alunos.
