Elvis Presley stars as the manager of a traveling tent show in the 1920s who gets involved in girl problems, unions, ambitious local talent, and a murder during a one-week stand in a small Midwestern town. Vincent Price, John Carradine, and Dabney Coleman also star. Presley sings three songs.
