Gotta confess, I ordered this album without reading the details when I saw the name Gilberto thinking it would be Joao and not Astrud together with Stanley Turrentine. Well it was a mistake, but not a disaster.

Gilberto With Turrentine is actually a stupid title for the LP: naturally it should be 'Gilberto With Deodato', while the persona of Eumir Deodato is present even where Astrud refused to get herself and Stanley Turrentine was never even meant to be.
