Thomas Tollemache was an English soldier and MP, serving in the Anglo-Scots Brigade before becoming Colonel of Coldstream Guards. He was elected MP for Malmesbury, Governor of Portsmouth and Chippenham. He fought in Flanders, Ireland and the Nine Years' War. He was born in 1651 and died of wounds in 1694 after the Battle of Camaret. He was buried at St Mary's Church, Helmingham. He never married.
