27 de jun. de 2020 · The predecessor of Changsha Foreign Language School (长沙外国语学校, website) was the 23rd Middle School of Changsha City founded in 1963. It was renamed Changsha Foreign Language School in 1996. It is the first state-owned public institution in Hunan Province and the only state-owned public institution in Changsha City.

The school is built on a twelve-year consistent scale (primary, middle, and high school), with a total planned area of 10,550 square meters and a building area of 12,267 square meters. There are 18 classes in primary school, 12 classes in middle school and 6 classes in high school. Each class has 24 students, with a total capacity of 864.
Since then, the school has been changed to First Union County School, Changjun Public School, Hunan Changjun Joint Middle School, Changsha First Middle School(1951), and Changsha Second Middle School. As of 1984, its name has been reverted to Changjun High School.
