  6. This lesser known Jane Wyman vehicle is another melodrama, no doubt trying to capitalize on her popular teamings with Douglas Sirk and Rock Hudson. While it's nowhere near as strong as those two, Miracle in the Rain is no less heartfelt or endearing, and I'd argue her character of Ruth (or Ruthie) is better than her Helen in Magnificent Obsession.
