  6. Sorcerer (Recorded May 16–24, 1967) Herbie Hancock wrote the title track, ‘The Sorcerer’, and dedicated it to Davis, noting ‘Miles is a sorcerer. His whole attitude, the way he is, is kind of mysterious. His music sounds like witchcraft. There are times I don’t know where his music comes from.
