23 de fev. de 2017 · It's true that I'm not in my 20's anymore, but I did have some 20's, and I found nothing in director\writer Caleb Vetter's plot or characters to which to relate. If there's nothing else on your To Watch list, viewing "The Matchbreaker" probably won't kill you, but aside from Grimmie's performance, it won't add much to your life either. Sorry guys.

The Matchbreaker is a divorce and separation consultancy founded by Katie Beer who for over 17 years has built up a wealth of experiencing in helping others who are going through particularly messy separations. Katie coaches people through marriage breakdowns, working alongside their chosen solicitor.
When an idealistic romantic gets fired from his day job, he is offered a "one-time gig" to break up a girl's relationship for her disapproving parents. This "one-time" gig spreads through word-of-mouth and he ends up becoming a professional match-breaker. Business gets personal, however, when he's hired to destroy the relationship of the girl he's adored and pined for since grade school.
