11 de ago. de 2017 · Patrick Branwell Brontë (Fig 1) was a talented intelligent boy, with three adoring sisters who were later to be preoccupied with his sullied life. In youth he was an essayist, poet and artist. With sister Charlotte he devised a series of imaginary role-playing ventures, which involved his younger sisters Emily and Anne; they composed and acted plays and stories about their imaginary worlds.

He is the co-author of Know It All; Find It Fast (Facet Publications), a guide to finding information, now in its third edition. Bob continues editing, reviewing and other related work. He recently obtained a doctorate in information studies.

Patrick Brontë graduated Bachelor of Arts at Cambridge in 1806 following the conclusion of a four-year degree course, and this marked a high point in the meteoric rise from his humble birth and upbringing in the parish of Drumballyroney, Co. Down.
