25 de abr. de 2024 · Born in 1959 in New York, NY, his father was the Uruguayan sculptor Gonzalo Fonseca. Encouraged by his father, he went on to study under the painter Augusto Torres in Barcelona, before living in Paris for a number of years. Returning to New York in 1993, Fonseca began showing around the city and gained traction in the art world.
